What you need to calculate your soul urge number is the vowels in your name, and each letter is assigned a number according to the standard chart used in numerology, as you can see below.

Add the Vowels in Your Name Together and Reduce
Now that you have the vowels in your name and know their numbers, the next step is to add them together.
If the final sum you get is 11, 22, or 33, then you have a master number that will not be reduced any further.
For any other sum, you have to add the digits to come up with a final, single-digit that will be your soul urge number.

Let’s say your name is Mary Ann Richardson.
Step 1: Assign each vowel in your name its number according to the standard Pythagorean chart.
